Our principles:

b.a.y.fund helps students finish high school and become the first in their families to graduate from college.
Our comprehensive program is based on 3 guiding principles:

  1. Young people are most productive in a culture of high expectations built on positive, productive relationships with adults and with each other.

  2. Young people develop self-motivation and acquire the tools for success when engaged in their own learning process.

  3. b.a.y.fund will be most successful in achieving its mission by working together with families, schools, volunteers, other youth development agencies, and donors who are committed to the education of San Francisco’s young people.
